課程概述

English Oral Training II aims to enhance students’ advanced skills in English speaking and critical thinking. Students will learn a variety of speaking genres on a wide range of topics. This semester, the course will focus on developing students' skills of debate, turn-taking, managing conversation, conducting a survey, and supporting proposals. 

課程目標
 By the end of the course, students will be able to (1) outline and organize an effective speech; (2) develop practical presentation skills; (3) research on their own a topic of interest; (4) have and explain their opinions in class discussions; and (5) give a speech confidently and fluently in front of the class/public.
